The McKenzie River stretches from it's headwaters at Clear Lake and flows down to Eugene where it merges with the Willamette River on its way to the mighty Columbia River and out to sea.
On it's journey, it flows through a number of small communities that were founded to serve the people who lived there. The communities are as follows:
