Often said to be the most beautiful drive in Oregon.
Resort guests are provided with a CD audio tour fro the resort front desk. You may also get a copy from either the McKenzie River Ranger Station or Westfir Ranger Station.
Hwy 19 Closed during winter
Length: 145 miles / 232.0 km
Time to Allow: Plan to spend from 6 hours to several days exploring this area.

McKenzie Pass - Santiam Pass Scenic Byway
Hwy 126 & 242 (Hwy 242 is closed in winter)
Great road trip with not one, but 3 spectacular waterfalls along the way.
Length: 82 miles / 131.2 km
Time to Allow: 3 to 5 hours, including time to stop at viewpoints.
West Cascades Scenic Byway
Hwy 242, 22, 126 & 19

Combine this with a drive along the Columbia Gorge (Hwy 84) and see the mighty Columbia River, Multnomah Falls and the many other Falls.
Length: 220 miles / 352.0 km
Time to Allow: Allow at least 7 to 8 hours to tour this Byway.
